What Is Nano Tolling?

Nano tolling is a custom processing service in which you provide the active ingredient and Cielo Cay converts it into a nano-formulated finished ingredient.

The supplied active is evaluated using its potency and full-panel documentation. Our team then determines the appropriate nano formulation and processing requirements for the selected powder or liquid format.

• You provide the active ingredient: Properly documented and labeled raw material is shipped to Cielo Cay.
• We nano-process the material: The active is converted into a water-compatible powder or liquid system.
• You receive the finished nano ingredient: The processed material is returned in commercial packaging for use in your finished products.

Nano Water-Soluble Powder Tolling

Converts your supplied active ingredient into a dry, water-dispersible powder designed for powdered formulations, edibles, capsules, tablets and other applications requiring a stable dry ingredient.

• Standard target load: approximately 20% active
• Approximately 200 mg active per gram of finished powder
• Nano-scale particle distribution
• Supplied in vacuum-sealed commercial bags

Nano Liquid Emulsion Tolling

Converts your supplied active ingredient into a water-dispersible liquid emulsion designed for beverages, tinctures, shots, topicals and other aqueous formulations.

• Standard target load: approximately 4% active
• Approximately 40 mg active per mL of finished liquid
• Nano-scale particle distribution
• Supplied in commercial jerrycans

Customer-Supplied Material Requirements

All active ingredients submitted for tolling must be reviewed and approved before production begins.

• Third-party potency COA: Required to confirm the potency of the supplied active and determine the appropriate nano formulation.
• Third-party full-panel COA: Must include heavy metals, pesticides, residual solvents and microbial testing.
• Verified lot and batch information: All supplied materials must be properly labeled with traceable lot and batch details.
• Chain-of-custody documentation: Materials must arrive with appropriate identification and supporting records.
• Material approval: Acceptance is determined on a case-by-case basis following document and ingredient review.

3. Provide the required potency and full-panel third-party COAs.
4. Cielo Cay reviews the documentation and confirms material eligibility.
5. Ship the approved and properly labeled active ingredient to our facility.
6. The active is nano-processed according to the approved project specifications.
7. The finished nano ingredient is packaged and prepared for shipment.

Ordering Information

Nano tolling projects are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Final output, formulation requirements, production timing and testing costs depend on the supplied active ingredient and selected nano format.

Listed tolling prices are based on the quantity of customer-supplied input material processed. Shipping, finished-product testing and any additional formulation or handling requirements are not included unless specifically stated in the approved quote.

Orders below the applicable minimum may be accepted with a 15% sub-MOQ upcharge, subject to approval.

Please contact Cielo Cay before shipping any active ingredients. Materials sent without prior approval, complete documentation or proper lot labeling may be rejected or returned at the customer’s expense.
